For the Journey Sunday School Literature

For the Journey started with Sunday School Literature. In the beginning, I only offered adult Sunday School Literature, but I added age groups over time and now offer teen, middle school, and children’s literature as well.

For the Journey 30-Day Devotional Studies

My next project once I was writing Sunday School Literature for all age groups was 30-Day Devotionals, and while Sunday School Literature is where I started and will probably always be the biggest part of For the Journey, the 30-Day Devotionals hold a special place in my heart. Currently, there are 10, and the titles are listed below:

For the Journey Podcast

Probably my most surprising addition to For the Journey came when I started a podcast. Most of the time, I still can’t believe I did that. I’m known more for being quiet and reserved than for being a talker. But, sometimes God nudges us to do things way outside our comfort zones, and we’re better for obeying.

I will admit episodes are pretty sporadic, but they’re available on Spotify, and my adventure in amateur podcasting has been pretty fun so far.

For the Journey Vacation Bible School

This offering, oddly enough, came about because of a broken printer. I tagged along on a shopping trip with my Mom, one of my aunts, and a cousin because I needed to buy a printer. In the car, my cousin mentioned that the lady from her church who had directed their Vacation Bible School had mentioned to her that her cousin should offer literature for Vacation Bible Schools. In the car that day, that seemed a little impossible to me, but a seed was planted, and not long after that, I found myself working on literature for a Vacation Bible School. The first two offerings listed below include a week-long and Super Saturday option. The third offering only includes a Super Saturday option.

For the Journey Bible Study Guides

This is my newest offering, and I am so excited about it! I believe in the importance of time spent in focused Bible study. Reading the Bible is wonderful, but we glean so much more when we really study and dig into the Word. These guides are designed to help with that and are great for individual use or for a small group Bible study. I’ve written two so far and look forward to many more.
